About the job
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organization. The senior accountant's responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.
Skill and Responsibilities
Commerce Graduate with minimum 2 years of accounting experience
Managing accounts in digital finance management system for business.
Generate Invoices and Manage Bills for the business accounts.
Maintaining physical vouchers
Working knowledge of tax laws, IFRS or GAAP
Prepare various financial reports through the digital financial management systems.
Manage Financial Planning and Analysis - including budgeting, forecasting and monitoring.
Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts
Keeping track of account payables and account receivables
Assisting with annual audit preparations, investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance
Good with Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
Must have good communication skill
Ability to train and mentor Junior Accountants
Coordinating accounting functions and programs
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Commerce or Accounting.
